it's an "add to cart" kind of day!

Happy 2020!

I don’t know about you, but 2020 will be a big year at our house. Both of our kids will be graduating, Maria from college and Drew from high school. Just thinking about it stirs up feelings of joy, pride and nostalgia. Lately, when a mom walks in the store holding a baby or the hand of a toddler I think about those days when my “babies“ we’re actually babies. I love having adult children. I love the conversations that we have at this season of life. It’s just hard to believe how quickly time has flown. I’m sure you feel the same way.

So here we are, new year, new decade, looking back a little, then pressing forward. I’m about to sound fully my age, but the older I get, the more I realize the value of time and the more I want to enjoy it as much as I can. Obviously that thinking pertains to time spent with family and friends, but it also speaks to time spent at work. I spend a lot of time here at the shop, and when not here, I’m often thinking about it. I’m happy to say, that I’m enjoying the shop more than ever. They’re plenty of challenges for sure, but the best part by far is and always has been the connection I get to have with you when you stop by. Our conversations, short or long, are what keep me loving what I do. And in light of the whole “value of time” talk, I want you to know how much it means to me that you choose to spend yours with us.

Thank you friends and Happy 20/20!
